Here’s a look at Bethesda’s Starfield

Starfield’s delay was one of the most important news this year, but unfortunately it wasn’t a surprise. After all, until now we had only been shown conceptual art with all the teasers. Fortunately, though, we now have a first look at a real game.

The game begins on Kreet’s mysterious moon and sees fellow robot VASCO emerge from the starship. Then, of course, we see some aliens, other space things, and some combat. Meanwhile, the swelling score is advancing very well in the background. We are also heading to New Atlantis at some point.

But you’re not here to hear me waffle. You are here to see for yourself. So without further ado, here’s our first look at the Starfield game.

There is also a fairly extensive character creator and you can also create your own advanced sites. Oh, and you can also build your own spaceships. Here you can choose your crew members and customize their layout. Todd Howard of Bethesda seems very excited about all this (understand).

Exploration will be a big deal at Starfield. You can land and poke your nose anywhere on any planet in any system. There will be over 100 systems and over 1000 plants within the game. Everything sounds pretty ambitious!

So, after a long wait, was this image all you expected?
