Apple’s 2022 World Developers Conference (WWDC 2022) is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 6 and run through Friday, June 10. The 3322 conference, which marks its 33rd edition, will be completely remote, like all Apple events over the past two years.
The event is completely free for anyone who wants to tune in online.
The first day of the event, Monday, June 6, will begin with a keynote presentation, probably led by Apple CEO Tim Cook and colleagues, where we will learn more about the new software and possibly also the new hardware.
As far as we know, Apple will introduce its new iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, which are expected to offer several improvements, including new health tracking features and an update of notifications. MacOS 13, along with tvOS16, is also expected to show up at the event.
In terms of hardware, we could see a new iMac Pro, Mac mini, Mac Pro and possibly a new MacBook Air with Apple’s silicon: the M2 processor. We could also see Apple’s AR / VR headphones in action, although previous reports have suggested that the headphones won’t be released until 2023.
You can find out for yourself what Apple has up its sleeve on Monday, June 6 at 13:00 ET / 10:00 PT.
The conference will be broadcast live on developer.apple.com/wwdc22/, the Apple Developer app, and Apple’s YouTube channel.
You can stay tuned to the MobileSyrup homepage, Twitter and / or Facebook for the latest news from the event. It is likely that Apple’s Twitter page will also be announcing tweets as they happen.
