He’s back! Elon Musk returns to the spotlight after a mysterious 11-day absence on Twitter

Musk said he was “honored” when he tweeted a photo of himself with the pontiff and his four teenage children.

Casually returning to his usual style of posting on Twitter, Mr. Musk wrote, “Nice to meet @Pontifex yesterday.”

The CEO of Tesla also shared an older photo showing him celebrating his 40th birthday in Venice with his then-wife, Talulah Riley.

He tweeted next to the image: “Venice, a place of great memory.”

The break in silence comes when Mr. Musk last posted to Twitter on June 21 when he posted a couple of meme images about AI and the price of gasoline.

In response to the image with the head of the Catholic Church, fans were quick to welcome Elon into the digital world.

One user, Endrina Pavlic, wrote: “A lovely visit … it is a pleasure to see that your children are with you … it is a blessing! Tell me your favorite topics you talked to @Pontifex ?! ”

Another, Leica Nelson, wrote, “Good for you! And I love your kids joining you. They look like a great gang. Very cool.”
