We’ve all been hooked on our TVs for the past two years at home, but if you’re thinking it’s time to upgrade, you might want to check out Hisense’s 2022 line of TVs.
Hisense may be the downside of the TV world compared to LG or Samsung, but there is no denying that its new range of TVs has an impact. The electronics maker has managed to include larger sizes, more innovations and competitive prices in its 2022 line of TVs.
There are ULED, OLED and Mini-LED screens available and having seen some of these bad guys up close, I can confirm that they are definitely easy to see.

What features are new?
Hisense has made some tweaks to its ULED line, which is basically Hisense’s term for a TV that includes a package of features such as quantum dot color, 4K resolution, Dolby Vision and Atmos, and attenuation local full array.
Also, now as a standard part of ULED in 2022 there are HDMI 2.1 features and gaming features like 120 Hz refresh rates.
OLED will also return to Hisense’s Australian TV range in 2022. Two models will be offered, the X8HAU and the X9HAU, with the latter providing 360-degree audio thanks to its sound screen and speakers.
I saw the X8HAU in person at the launch of the Hisense TV and I have to say this is awesome. In the short time I spent with him I could not look the other way.
Mini-LED TVs are also an option this year for those who want the same level of quality as an OLED but a brighter picture.
Hisense also offers an updated version of its TriChroma laser TV, which is a 120-inch projector that will turn your home into a movie theater.
Hisense’s proprietary VIDAA operating system is receiving a full line upgrade. VIDAA U6 brings new apps like Apple TV + and Disney + and a new add-on app allows your smartphone to replace the TV remote.

Hisense TVs in 2022: Australian prices and release dates
Okay, let’s get to the important stuff. How affordable are these new TVs really?
As usual, Hisense undermines its competitors by a reasonable margin. The ULED range starts at $ 1,499 and offers between 55 inches and 98 inches. From here, look for $ 1,999 for a Mini-LED or $ 2,799 for an OLED.

The 2022 ULED range will be available from June, the Mini-LED range from July and OLED TVs from August in Australia.
