Lisandro Martínez flies to Manchester to complete a medical examination before his transfer of 55 million euros to Manchester United.
United reached an agreement with Ajax yesterday to sign the center-back and the deal was announced this morning, subject to a medical examination.
The photo, posted by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, shows Lisandro aboard a plane bound for England.
He will head to the AON training complex in Carrington, where he will have to complete a medical examination before finalizing the deal that will take him to United.

The 24-year-old was Ajax’s best player of the year in 2021/22 and was one of Erik ten Hag’s top transfer transfers to his new club, having worked with him for the last four seasons.
The signing was thought to jeopardize the position of captain Harry Maguire at United as they both play in the center left.
Interestingly, however, in today’s pre-season friendly against Melbourne Victory, Ten Hag switched Maguire and Victor Lindelof, playing the former on the right and the latter on the left.
This may mean little to Maguire’s future, however, as this position is usually held by world-class Raphael Varane.
The Argentine could also be used as a midfielder or left winger.
Even if he signs in the next 24 hours, it is believed that Lisandro will not join the tour party in Australia.
With only 8 days per hour and a grueling long-haul flight needed to get there, the club is believed to prefer to stay in Manchester and concentrate on their fitness.
The same goes for new signing Christian Eriksen, who the club has announced this afternoon as a new player.
