Mississauga emergency services and firefighters are responding to a Mississauga townhouse complex by a fire that led to a mass evacuation.
Police received a call shortly after 2 p.m. about a burning apartment building in the Glen Erin area Dr. and Meadowvale Town Center Circle.

Emergency services say the fire went through the attic to the deck.
Teams had to fight the fire from several floors, standing on the balcony of a unit.

About 36 units in the building were affected by the fire.
Several neighboring houses have also been evacuated.
Peel Regional Police says there are no reports of physical injuries at this time.
Westbound Battleford Rd. to Glen Erin Dr. is currently blocked due to ongoing efforts by Mississauga emergency services and firefighters.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
Mississauga emergency services and firefighters are advising residents of the uninsured townhouse complex to travel to the Meadowvale Community Center. Social Services and the Canadian Red Cross are created to provide shelter, food, clothing and medicine.
