Inside Michael Owen’s huge £ 4 million mansion where ITV Love Island star Gemma Owen lives

Michael Owen’s daughter is one of this year’s Love Island contestants, who has returned to our screens this week for her eighth series. Gemma Owen, 19, was part of the original line-up that entered the Mallorcan town on Monday night (June 13) to have a chance to find love.

Although her last name has been spilled, Gemma’s islanders still don’t know that her father is the legendary former Liverpool and Manchester United striker, but he has hinted that he is from a wealthy family.

The international dressage rider has revealed that she lives at home with her family and 12 horses. Gemma, who is currently dating Davide, a 27-year-old Italian man from Manchester, also told some of the boys that her father is a “sports fan”.

Although Gemma introduced herself as Chester, the Owen family home, called Lower Soughton Hall, is located near Mold in Wales.

The £ 4 million mansion covers 42 acres and has been the home of the Owen since 2001, with Michael and his wife Louise moving two years before their eldest daughter Gemma was born.

Michael, Louise, Gemma and their three younger brothers, Emily, Jessica and James, now live in the family home.

In 2019, Michael took a look at ITV inside its amazing Grade II listed property during an episode of Keith Lemon’s gaming program Through the Keyhole.

The exclusive visit to his beautiful family home in the small Welsh village of Northop featured the huge open-plan kitchen, indoor jacuzzi pool, private gym, bar and movie theater.

There was also a games room that houses some of Owen’s most prized trophies, as well as a series of soccer jerseys and soccer balls.

Viewers were also able to see the stables, where Gemma probably keeps her 12 horses, as well as the rest of the extensive grounds that have two cottages, two floors, a car house and three greenhouses, reports NorthWalesLive.

Located in the countryside, the house has a rural setting with a classic interior complete with large windows, bright and spacious rooms and exposed wooden beams.
