Insomniac’s Spider-Man Remastered will hit PC this summer

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, the updated version of Insomniac’s hit action game for PlayStation consoles, will arrive for PC platforms on August 12th. The port arrives courtesy of Nixxes Software, recently added to the “PlayStation family” in 2021. The announcement was made. Thursday during the presentation of Sony’s game status.

Launched in 2018, the original Spider-Man game was praised for bringing new life to the digital incarnation of the web-slinger. He follows Peter Parker and narrates the birth of his nemesis, Doctor Octopus. The game featured exceptional course mechanics and a narrative that appealed to players. The remastered version included, among other things, a completely new version of Peter Parker’s face. The sequel, Spider-Man 2 is expected in 2023.

This is not the first Nixxes rodeo, obviously. The studio has previously worked on Marvel’s Avengers, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
