If you’re having trouble uploading stories, posts, or direct messages from Instagram, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
The Downdetector interrupt tracking service shows that users of the Meta-owned application have experienced login issues, along with connectivity issues since 12 pm ET / 9 am PT.

It is worth noting that other Meta-owned services, including Facebook and WhatsApp, do not appear to be affected.
Instagram has not yet released an official announcement about the update. In October, Meta’s proprietary photo-sharing app said it was testing a feature that would alert users to technical interruptions or difficulties directly in the app. It looks like the feature is still being tested because the app doesn’t currently mention any interruptions.
It is unclear what caused the technical difficulty of Instagram. The last time the photo sharing app had an interruption was on October 4, 2021, when it crashed along with Facebook and WhatsApp.
No other social networking platform has dropped THIS many times apart from Instagram.
And the reason for that is … they just have to let it BE! ⁇
We are fine if there is no update for 2 weeks.
