In addition to the Notes update, another iOS 16 feature that went under the radar is the ability to transfer an eSIM between iPhones via Bluetooth.
As MacRumours reported, the feature works when you’re trying to transfer an eSIM and its associated number from an iPhone with iOS 16 to a different iPhone, which must also run iOS 16. The feature works via Bluetooth and appears. when you go to the “Configure eSIM” settings.
In addition, MacRumours states that the feature will be available in several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, although Canada is not explicitly mentioned. In addition, the transfer process will only work if your carrier supports Bluetooth eSIM transfer.
In other news related to iOS 16, the iPhone 7 and earlier devices could not move to the new operating system.
