IPhone 14 models include 6GB faster and more efficient RAM, leaks reveal updated devices

There are only a few days left for Apple’s WWDC and more reports are appearing around the next line of iPhone 14. According to the latest reports, the Cupertino technology giant plans to include 6 GB of RAM in all models in the line of iPhone 14. Development has been reported by Taiwanese research firm TrendForce.

Next-generation iPhone 14 Pro models will likely come with up-to-date, faster, and more energy-efficient RAM known as LPDDR5, while regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models will include LPDDR4X.

As of now, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini include 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are equipped with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The latest development is in line with the prediction of well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who had stated that all iPhone 14 models will have 6 GB of RAM and that iPhone 14 Pro models will include LPDDR5.

According to the research firm, iPhone 14 Pro models are likely to start with 256GB of storage. The current generation of iPhones starts with 128 GB of storage. However, the report stated that the details of the storage are “to be determined”.
