Oh no, we’ve somehow traveled back in time to a time when off-screen photos of leaked press conferences were all the rage! In fact, wait … these tweets are dated 2022 and talk about Sony’s upcoming State of Play. Are we really still doing this ?!
As a result, yes, we are. Incredibly, several images are being passed on social media, supposedly exposing Sony’s plans for this week’s broadcast. Trying to locate the original sources of some of these images is incredibly difficult, as far as we know, only the most popular accounts pick them up, but it really doesn’t matter, as they are clearly fake.
Has PlayStation game status been leaked? Wow, that’s crazy 🤯😱😱😱😱

What’s even crazier is that this next “leak” is meant to be fake. It was purposely created to show how easy it is to get the ball rolling with ridiculous rumors, and is still being shared and broadcast as if it were real business. A perfect example.
I already told you that Imma will do it and it didn’t take long for her to do it too.
Mine seems more like a legitimate leak because it’s a blurry AF. pic.twitter.com/L14VGxAVJo

Now look, some of the “leaks” in these lists are a bit reasonable. A Stray release date? For sure. Too many PSVR2 titles after Sony specifically said they would play a role in this showcase? Of couse. The bottom line is that if you have a decent understanding of how these shows are going, you can probably come up with a credible leak. You may even end up right in some of your guesses, but hey.
We can’t believe that photos like this are still a thing. Events like State of Play never leak into this kind of capacity, but then we head to the summer months, which has always been the perfect time for such absurd rumors.
Some things never change!
