The Titans must save what they can still from David Fifita’s $ 1.2 million signing and transfer him to Wayne Bennett’s Dolphins.
This is the opinion of rugby league icon Billy Moore, who believes the Dolphins should contribute $ 800,000 to sign the low-performing Fifita.
The Gold Coast played the final last season, but suffered a disastrous campaign in 2022 and only the points difference keeps them off the bottom of the ladder.

Fifita has missed six games due to injury and has played three more off the bench as coach Justin Holbrook struggles to use his most expensive player.
Moore told the Fox League podcast that the Titans’ problems go “much deeper” than Fifita, but that it was still time to break up with the 22-year-old.
“It’s an issue with $ 1.2 million at the limit and for me, the Titans have to let it go,” Moore said.
“Give it to Redcliffe, take it out of your books and pay for the part you have to do.

The super coach has spoken enthusiastically about Fifita this season and believes he can get the star back to the fullest.

Moore believes the Titans ’deepest problems stem from the release of veteran migback Jamal Fogarty in favor of the rookie halves.
“The crux of the problem with the Titans is that they rolled the dice on the youngest column in the competition, so I’d like to know who made that decision,” he said.
“If Holbrook made that decision last year and said ‘let’s go with this young column, I can teach them,’ well, the ax falls on him.”
