Lachie surprised the judges from the moment she entered The Voice stage for her blind hearing. The physical education teacher was destined for the AFL camp before his passion for music usurped his career plans. Her performance of JP Saxe and Julia Michaels’ If The World Was Ending saw Rita fight to join her team.
The final four sang the chorus in the grand finale.
Although they did not win gold, the other three grand finalists impressed the audience in the same way from the first moment.
With her three-year-old daughter, Charlie, for her audition, Melbourne singer-songwriter Thando Sikwila showed off her stunning pipes during a performance of Chaka Khan’s I’m Every Woman, which earned her a place on the Keith team.
Meanwhile, after an emotional performance of Celine Dion’s Why You Loved Me, dedicated to her mother, whom she cares for every day, Faith, 24, moved the four judges and joined the Jess team.
And an unforgettable performance of Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror earned Jordan, 23, four laps, although he eventually chose to join Guy’s team.
Last year’s winner was Bella Taylor Smith.

Lachie arrives as the 11th winner of The Voice Australia, following in the footsteps of Bella Taylor Smith from Guy Sebastian’s team last year.
He is currently performing with the choir singer on his TRUTH tour and preparing to embark on a solo tour to catch my eye in Australia.
