“It’s been very hard”: Payne Haas breaks the silence with the bomb

Payne Haas has revealed where he would like to play after speaking for the first time since the Broncos dropped a bomb.

Broncos star Payne Haas has spoken out after filing for an impact release request Wednesday night.

Haas ’current $ 800,000-a-year deal wasn’t enough for the Blues performer, with his new management looking for $ 1 million this season and $ 1.2 million in 2024.

Negotiations worsened, prompting the Haas team to submit the request, which was flatly rejected by Brisbane powerbrokers.

Now the Broncos are hoping to retain their 22-year-old star after he explained that his first choice is to stay in Red Hill.

“I’d like to stay,” Haas said The Daily Telegraph.

“It’s been very hard, it’s been a tough few days to be honest.

“I came here (Friday night) to play against the Titans, so it shows that I’m here playing for my teammates and the club.

“That’s all that matters.”

According to News Corp, there is a view that Haas could leave the Broncos as his leadership increases the heat in the contract negotiations.

When asked if he will stay at the club for the rest of the 2022 season, Haas gave nothing away.

“I don’t know what’s going on now,” Haas said.

“I don’t want to talk about things from the launch. I’ll let my manager take care of this side of things and I hope they can sort things out.”

In his team’s victory over the Titans, Haas had a night he will never forget, with boos from the crowd apparently every time he touched the ball.

Haas management must now meet with Broncos power brokers to resolve the huge $ 3.2 million saga of contracts.
