James Caroll, known for his appearances on Coronation Street and Brookside on Channel 4, has died.
He played a character named Colin in the ITV soap, the friend of Mary Taylor and Brian Humphreys in Brookside.
While on screen, he was also passionate about music and was part of a group.

He and his bandmate Alan Taylor performed a variety of songs, including from “beloved bands like Madness, Bad Manners, The Specials” and more, according to the band’s Facebook page.

Caroll formed half of 2 TONED and his bandmate Alan Taylor paid tribute with a Facebook post added to the band’s page.
Along with three broken-hearted emojis, the tribute says, “My heart is broken. My amazing friend, mentor and brother James Caroll Jimmy is dead. Jimmy and I had an amazing act and had a fantastic 12 years and more. of 850 shows across the country and we met and entertained thousands of wonderful people we now call friends.
“The time on stage was sensational, but the quality time I spent traveling, laughing, crying, joking and of course singing and just being an important part of others’ lives is something I will always remember. “I’ll treasure you for the rest of my days. I love you. Jim, good night until we meet again, my dear friend, enjoy.

A Facebook user responded to Alan Taylor’s post on Facebook, writing: “Rest in peace mate. Thank you for the shows and laughter. Best regards to family and friends. Surely a star of the show will shine more now ”
