Jackson Warne is reunited with his father’s close friend Shane, British pop singer Ed Sheeran, three months after the death of the cricket legend.

Jackson Warne has finally reunited with British pop star Ed Sheeran after the sudden death of his father, cricket star Shane, three months ago.
The legendary bowler died of natural causes in Koh Samui on March 4 while on holiday in Thailand.
The 23-year-old SAS Australia star shared a photo on her Instagram on Friday posing with the Shape of You singer, a very close friend of her late father.

The 21-year-old blonde, casually dressed in a white shirt, can be seen smiling broadly at the selfie as she receives a hug from Jackson.
The image is an emotional reminder of the warm relationship Ed shared with Jackson’s father.

Shortly after Shane’s death, Ed directed a series of tributes on social media, revealing a strange phone call he shared with the cricketer a few days before his death.
He said he and Shane had called each other on the anniversary of the death of Australian music promoter Michael Gudinski, who died on March 1, 2021.
“The world continues to take in amazing people,” Ed wrote in an Instagram post next to a photo of Warne with Gudinski.

“I spoke to Shane on the anniversary of Michael’s death this week saying we were both raising a 707 cup in his honor, and now this news comes out.
“Shane was the kindest heart and always went above and beyond to make people feel welcome and special. A gentleman like that.
“He gave so many hours and years of his life to give joy to others and he was an amazing friend to me. I will miss you, mate. Absolutely gutted.
Ed and Shane have been close friends since 2014, they met in Melbourne through mutual friends after a Kylie Minogue concert.
The couple was last photographed together in April last year after the singer had a boys night out in Melbourne with Shane and his son Jackson.
