Spectacular photos of rescue teams have emerged at the scene of a fatal car accident in Turkey that killed TOWIE star Lauren Goodger’s ex-boyfriend Jake McLean and seriously injured his partner Yazmin Oukhellou.
Photos and video show the car believed to be driving near the tourist town of Bodrum in the Aegean Sea, lying on its roof in the dark Sunday night amid grass to the knees.
The car’s front and rear doors are open and one of its headlights is on, with the left turn indicator flashing. Emergency crews are nearby with torches to look inside.
Jake, 33, rose to fame while dating Lauren, 35, from 2012 to 2016, as she appeared in The Only Way Is Essex, Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother.
The mother of one child, who is currently expecting her second child with partner Charles Drury, looked excited as she was first seen since Jake’s death, with her friends saying she is “devastated” .
Meanwhile, Jake’s mother, Sheila McLean, paid a tearful tribute to her son from her home in East London today by telling MailOnline, “Jake was a lovely child … We are all very upset.”
Yazmin, 28, also famous for her appearances in TOWIE, is believed to be recovering in hospital after suffering injuries to one of her arms.

But she broke up with him just a month later after he was reportedly caught “acting single” while on holiday in Dubai and leaving a club alone with former Love Island Ellie Jones.
It was still thought the couple were separated when the crash occurred on Sunday. Friends say they are not sure what the couple were doing together in Turkey, but perhaps they had been there to sign some kind of trade deal.
A source told MailOnline: “It’s a total tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and waiting for Yazmin to fully recover.
Friends close to Lauren told MailOnline that the mother of a pregnant child has been “devastated” by Jake’s untimely death.
Speaking to The Sun, another source added: “It looks like Jake was driving when he lost control of the car and came out of a cliff.”

Another cast member said: “No one is quite sure what they were doing out there, we thought they had split up, but apparently he was involved in some sort of trade deal.
“But what has happened in this is baffling. It sounds very, very serious, maybe life-changing. ‘
Jake was jailed for three and a half years in 2008 after entering a mother’s house and dominating her before a masked gang entered and raided the family home.
He reportedly entered the property posing as a real estate agent.

Jake, who was 18 at the time, was part of a gang of six. The other five members ran into the house with imitation pistols and threatened to kill their victims if they shouted for help.
