Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck cried as they shared “emotional” vows on their wedding day.
Kenosha Portis, an employee of A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, where the bride and groom got married, spoke Tuesday with co-hosts of “Good Morning America” about weddings.
“It was very exciting,” he said of Sunday’s ceremony. “I mean, we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest coming.
“I started shaking a little bit,” Portis continued. “Like, ‘This is Jennifer Lopez we’re getting ready to marry.'”
The Nevada resident reflected on how “sweet” and “emotional” the couple was at the altar as they read their vows.

“They cried at each other,” he explained, noting that “their children were right behind them.”
Affleck, 49, is the father of three children and shares Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. López, on the other hand, is the co-relative of the twins Emme and Maximilian, 14, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

A source told Page Six on Monday that Emme and Seraphina were the only children in attendance, adding that the ceremony was “very minimally planned” and “momentum of the moment”.
However, we are told that the couple is planning a bigger celebration in the coming weeks. It will be held on the 87-acre Affleck property in Riceboro, Ga.
“Gigli’s” teammates first started dating in 2002. While Affleck proposed to Lopez that same year, the couple ended their engagement in 2004.
The two “Gigli” co-stars “cried” during their “emotional” vows, Portis recalled.
Lopez reconnected with Affleck in 2021 after her separation from Alex Rodriguez.
The dancer told her readers of the “On the JLo” newsletter in April of the following year that Affleck had asked the question for the second time. The proposal took place while she was in the bathtub.
“[I] I just looked into his eyes smiling and crying at the same time, trying to understand that after 20 years this was happening again, “Lopez recalled.” I was literally speechless and said, ‘Is it a yes?’ I said “YES, of course, this is a YES.”

On Sunday, the “Maid in Manhattan” star gave the details of the wedding to her subscribers, describing the timing of the milestone “exactly” as she and the actor wanted.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years of patient,” the New York native said. “It was the best possible wedding we could have imagined.”
