Tyler Adams looks set to become the last U.S. international to join Leeds United following an update on the transfer of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The RB Leipzig midfielder has agreed to join Jesse Marsch’s men on a long-term deal for a £ 20million fee, which includes supplements, and should complete his change sometime this week.
Adams will join Marsch and his fellow U.S. star Brendan Aaronson on Elland Road. The winger completed his own change to West Yorkshire from RB Salzburg earlier in the window.
Marsch coached both players during their periods in charge at Leipzig and Salzburg and made a great effort to reunite with the pair.
After arriving from the MLS New York Red Bulls, Adams made 103 appearances in three and a half seasons with Leipzig. He also claimed some silver last year as his team won the DFB-Pokal.
The 23-year-old will arrive at Elland Road with the big task of replacing white hero Kalvin Phillips.
The England international completed his £ 45m move to Premier League champions Manchester City on Monday.

Leeds is also approaching an exciting end
Meanwhile, Leeds could pay up to £ 25 million for new winger Luis Sinisterra.
The Whites incorporated Marc Roca, Aaronson and Ramsus Kristensen earlier into the transfer market. But they are actively looking for a replacement for Raphinha, who is wanted by Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Romano revealed Monday before that Leeds and the Feyenoord star have agreed personal terms.
However, there were doubts about the quota, although Voetbal International now claims that the two clubs have found points in common on the front of the deal.
The Dutch source claims that Leeds will pay more than 20 million euros (17.2 million pounds) for Sinisterra. Meanwhile, 90min claims the transfer could cost up to 25 million pounds alongside Elland Road.
The 90min report adds that Leeds expect to reach an agreement for Sinisterra this week.
