President Biden fell off his bicycle while strolling near his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Del., On Saturday.
Secret Service agents swarmed the 79-year-old commander and helped him to his feet.
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Biden said, telling reporters by the pool that he fell when one of his shoes got stuck in the cage of his foot with a pedal.
Biden left at about 8:30 a.m., surrounded by security guards, and walked the bike lanes of Delaware Seashore State Park.

An hour later, he walked away from his wife Jill, who continued on his way, and approached a group of about 30 curious locals who had gathered near the press pool to watch him pass.
“Happy Father’s Day,” one woman said, while the others applauded.
But the crowd’s greetings turned to moans as the president leaned to his right, falling on his elbow and knee.
Officers helped him and lifted him up in a few moments. No cuts or scratches were seen in the fall, reporters said.
Once vertical, Biden briefly answered reporters’ questions, joking, “I won’t talk to you on my vacation.”
He dismissed a question about arms legislation that appears to have stalled in the Senate and said he plans to talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping “soon” about raising tariffs.
“I’m in the process of deciding,” Biden said.
