Johnny Depp appeared on stage alongside musician Jeff Beck for the second night in a row in the UK, just days after final discussions in his defamation suit with ex-wife Amber Heard.
Images of the concert widely posted on social media show Depp on stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall with his guitar singing alongside Beck. According to Sky News, the couple performed their 2020 collaboration “Isolation”, a version of the song that John Lennon released in 1970.
“He knocked on my dressing room door about five years ago, and we haven’t stopped laughing since,” Beck said on stage in a video, Sky News reported. “We kept it quiet because … obvious reasons … here it is.”
This is Depp’s second appearance on stage with Beck. On Sunday, Depp surprised fans at a Jeff Beck concert in Sheffield, England.
As previously reported by Insider, video footage taken of the event shows the couple performing a version of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye, as well as “Little Wing” by Jimi Hendrix. They also performed Depp’s unreleased song “This is a Song for Ms. Hedy Lamarr.”

These appearances on stage come just days after lawyers representing Depp and Heard gave final arguments in the ongoing defamation trial of the couple.
Johnny Depp first filed a lawsuit against Heard in March 2019, accusing her of defaming him in a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece describing him as a victim of domestic violence. Depp alleged that Heard actually attacked him physically and verbally throughout their relationship. Heard has denied the allegations and opposed the lawsuit, citing in court documents at least 10 cases in which he says Depp physically abused her, often in what he described were alcohol or drug-fueled anger.
The jury is currently deliberating on the case, which began on April 11 and lasted six weeks as a witness.
