Hollywood star Johnny Depp has been greeted by fans in Manchester this afternoon ahead of his performance with Jeff Beck. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was seen leaving the Lowry Hotel in Salford.
Depp has been seen across the country in recent days, from sharing a pint at a Newcastle pub with indie star Sam Fender to a Kent Wildlife Sanctuary. The 58-year-old is in Manchester to perform at the O2 Apollo with Jeff Beck.

They collaborated on Beck’s 2020 Isolation track and Depp has appeared on stage during his UK tour this week. He has been assaulted by fans at every stage of the tour.

Lots of impatient fans waited outside the Lowry Hotel to greet the movie star and Depp, wearing a colorful hat, stopped and took selfies with many.

It comes after the actor emerged victorious against Amber Heard in his defamation suit.

Depp sued his ex-wife for $ 50 million (£ 38 million) for a 2018 opinion piece he wrote in the Washington Post about being a survivor of domestic abuse. He was awarded $ 15 million, which the judge later reduced to $ 10.35 million.

Heart’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, told the US news program Today that her client intended to appeal the outcome of the case.
