Johnny Depp suffers from erectile dysfunction that led to his alleged sexual assault on Amber Heard with a bottle of liquor, his lawyers have claimed in court documents.
“While Mr. Depp would prefer not to disclose his erectile dysfunction condition, this condition is absolutely relevant to sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s rage and use of a bottle to rape Amber Heard.” says the March 28 presentation.
Depp’s alleged medical condition is what contributed to his violent behavior toward his ex-wife, Heard’s lawyers argue.
The legal team for the Aquaman actresses claims that Depp’s medical condition makes him more likely to become angry or agitated, which leads to anger and aggression.
Heard claimed that even though he took erectile dysfunction medication, his poor performance only made him angrier, and in one instance Heard claims he “took it out on me.”
“I said angry sex that Johnny couldn’t fully perform,” she alleged. “He would throw me on the bed, he did it several times, and he would force himself on me in an angry way.”
The actress also said Depp would spend a lot of time with his drinking buddies, including her father David Heard and rocker Marilyn Manson, and would come home “even more sexually and verbally abusive”.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were put through a six-week trial after the actresses claimed in a 2018 newspaper op-ed that her ex-husband abused her.
Court documents released over the weekend claim that Depp allegedly suffers from erectile dysfunction
The actress also said Depp would spend a lot of time with his drinking buddies, including both her father David Heard and rocker Marilyn Manson, and would come home “even more sexually and verbally abusive”.
Heard also alleged that she supported herself financially the entire time she and Depp were dating, despite Depp’s insistence that “I’ll take care of you.”
“Johnny wanted to own me completely, he would fight me on every job,” she said. “The way he talked about working actresses was disparaging. Being an actress was a sin for him, it was the equivalent of being aw***e’.
Heard and Depp headed to court in April for a six-week trial in Virginia to discuss abuse allegations made during the couple’s relationship. The couple married in 2015, but separated just over a year later before officially divorcing in 2017.
Heard claimed Depp allegedly abused her since 2013 when she claimed she was sexually assaulted on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Heard came forward in May to testify that her ex-husband allegedly raped her with a liquor bottle and threatened to “cut” her face with it in 2015, according to Page Six.
“I didn’t know if the bottle inside me was broken,” she said, breathing heavily as she fought back tears. ‘I couldn’t feel it. I didn’t feel anything.
Court documents show the alleged assault happened at the same time Depp was suffering from a cut finger, claiming Heard had thrown a bottle of vodka at him while in Australia.
Leaked documents accessed on August 1 revealed that Heard’s sister told her boss that the Aquaman actress cut Depp’s finger when she threw a bottle of vodka at him.
The statement was made by Jennifer Howell, a former friend and boss of Heard’s sister, Whitney Henriquez, speaking about the finger incident.
He recalls when Amber’s sister called out to the office “she’s cut her damn finger off” while the duo were in Australia as Depp filmed the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Despite the Aquaman actress’ allegations, Depp denied his ex-wife’s sexual assault allegations during the defamation trial that ended in June with a judge siding with Depp.
Heard was ordered to pay her ex-husband $10.35 million in June after a jury ruled she defamed Depp in an opinion piece published in 2018.
Speaking to Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez, Howell said: “I was sitting exactly where I’m sitting right now because I’m sitting at my desk in the office. So I was sitting right here at my computer, working, on my zone, responding, doing whatever he was doing.
“And right there, there were two black and white chairs at the time with a table between them. Whitney was sitting in one of the black and white chairs.
“There’s also a door that goes out right there, and she just yelled, ‘Now she’s done it.’ She’s cut off his damned finger,” and he made this huge proclamation. And I pulled my chair back. I said, “What?”
“And she says, ‘He cut her finger.’ She cut his finger. And then he walked out the door and said, “I’ve got to call somebody.” I have to call someone.
“And he went out the door and called somebody. I don’t know who he called. That’s what was said.
When asked if Henriquez had specified who “she” and “he” were on stage, Howell replied, “It was Amber and Johnny.
“And he had apparently thrown a bottle and cut his finger, that’s what he reported when he came back who he talked about outside.”
Heard denied causing the injury, saying he hurt himself during a drunken rage.
Depp also told the court that he lied to a doctor about how he got the finger injury at the time.

Unsealed court documents further showed that Heard walked away from a divorce settlement from Depp that could have awarded her tens of millions of dollars.
Heard may have been after Depp’s half of the $33 million he earned while filming the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise since the couple were still married. However, documents obtained by the Daily Beast show that Heard ignored instructions from her legal team not to sue Depp for the maximum amount.
Heard will also receive $2 million from Depp in a counter-suit, leaving her with just over $8 million to pay.
Heard was ordered to pay Depp a total of $8.3 million after she was found guilty of defamation, but says she doesn’t have enough cash to do so.
The Aquaman actress has filed an appeal to overturn the judge’s July 21 ruling.
