The Binley Road business is now more popular than ever, as people line up just to get their hands on some tasty takeaways. Dozens of customers have been photographed outside the store today, many traveling across the country.
The store is believed to receive hundreds of orders a day and continues to attract massive crowds. Guests queue outside for takeaway food throughout the day, posing for photos and posting reports on social media.

The parking lot outside the storefront has been filled today as fans have flocked everywhere to taste what Binley Mega Chippy has to offer. The store serves a variety of food, including fish and chips, don kebabs and fried chicken.

Owner Kamal Gandhi said he felt “very lucky” that his humble takeaway had caught the world’s attention, though he admitted he had “no idea” of the massive hysteria surrounding his chip shop.
Anthony told CoventryLive: “We flew from Sydney a couple of weeks ago. We were in London and Binley Mega Chippy has been on the list for a few weeks and we were on our way to Liverpool, so we thought ‘we have to stop to Binley Mega Chippy. “In fact, we’ve done our best to come to Coventry.”
Friend Daniel added: “We decided to come to Europe and the UK and see some things. While we were in London, we saw that Binley Mega Chippy was nearby, so we thought why not dedicate a couple of hours more and go out to see Binley Mega Chippy too while we were here.
“He lined up at the perfect time when this was exploding and we were going to be here, so we thought, of course, we had to stop.”

Daniel added: “It really exceeded my expectations. We passed a few people who told us it wasn’t worth it, but we went in and everyone, all the staff there, were very friendly and even went sign our lunch box and they took care of us once we got in. It’s been great here. We’ve been laughing with everyone else in line and the line has been out since we got here, and it still is. ” .
