She recently divorced after 16 years of marriage, but the TV presenter is far from sad, detailing an unexpected advantage of being single.
Julia Morris has opened up about the benefits of divorcing, making a pretty big “fantasy” of life as a single woman.
He I’m a celebrity … Get me out of here! The host separated from her husband Dan Thomas, 42, last year after 16 years of marriage, and Julia revealed that they had been “in a good place” since they divorced.
However, the 54-year-old said Sooshi mango sauce meatballs podcast does not plan to “go back”, coining a new term for his recent celibacy: “JFZ”.
“We are in a good place, thank God, because I am listening to horror stories [divorce] but, my God, freedom, ”he told the hosts.
“I don’t want to brag, but oh, that’s all you’re dreaming about.”
The comedian, who shares daughters Ruby and Sophie with her ex, was questioned by hosts Carlo Salanitri, Joe Salanitri and Andrew Manfre about whether he created a Tinder profile, prompting Julia to declare, “Never.”
“I’ve been renovating my house, right, and I’ve made the bedroom upstairs pink and fluffy,” he said.
“Two friends came the other day, and the boy came into my room and said, ‘Yes, I’m soft.’
“It simply came to our notice then. This is a no-brainer. “
Julia’s honest revelation was shared on TikTok, where fans quickly came together to share their love for the “liberties” of divorce.
“Freedom is priceless! “I will never give up on anyone again,” wrote one woman.
“Life after divorce is fabulous! Toilet-free pubs and skates that smell of roses and women’s rooms. Heaven,” said another.
And one stated, “JFZ, I’m totally on that.”
Others added that she “loved single life” and shared a stream of emojis laughing about the term “JFZ.”
Julia met Dan, a Welsh comedian, at an event in London called Club Sunday. The couple married in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve in 2005 before leaving at the end of last year.
Before parting, Julia made a surprise admission Stellar magazine, stating that he planned to leave Dan “once a year” because of his arguments.
However, he previously praised her support during her 2012 battle with breast cancer.
