Julian Nagelsmann has not ruled out Bayern Munich making a move for Tottenham superstar Harry Kane.
Bayern Munich, looking for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left the club in acrimonious circumstances this window for Barcelona, identified Kane as the perfect man to step into the void left by the Polish talisman.
Speaking to the press amid Bayern Munich’s pre-season preparations in the United States, the young manager refused to rule out a future move for Kane, leaving open the possibility that the England captain may one day join the giants germans

Nagelsmann said: “He’s very expensive, that’s the problem, but a brilliant player, a two or three who can play as a centre-forward. [as well as a] Not 10, but it is very strong, bright with [his] head and both feet,’ he added.
“He could score a lot in the Bundesliga, I don’t know the price, but it’s very tough for Bayern Munich. We’ll see what happens in the future.”
Rumors have circulated about Kane’s move to the Bavarian club, especially since Lewandowski’s public departure from the German champions.
Harry Kane is admired by several figures at Bayern Munich, but Nagelsmann notes that any deal would be difficult.
Robert Lewandowski left the German giants this summer after eight years in Bavaria
Lewandowski, who had just one year left on his deal with the German giants, publicly announced earlier this summer that he wanted to leave after something “died” inside him between him and the club.
Kane himself made it known he wanted to leave Spurs last summer, with Manchester City making several bids for him. The Englishman is believed to have wanted to leave his boyhood club after growing disillusioned with the team’s management.
Bild, a German tabloid, reported on Friday that Bayern Munich had rung Kane’s representatives over a summer move. The answer is said to have been a firm ‘no’ to a move this summer after he had pledged to stay at the club under Antonio Conte.
Oliver Kahn spoke of his admiration for Kane as a player and did not rule out a move for him
Kane has less than two years left on his current Spurs contract and this season will be decisive as to whether or not his long-term future is at N17 or elsewhere.
Indeed, Nagelsmann is not the only senior Bayern Munich employee who has recently spoken of his admiration for Kane as a player.
Oliver Kahn, the legendary goalkeeper, now chief executive of Bayern Munich, described the England forward as a “superior striker” but said he was a “future dream”.
“He is under contract with Tottenham,” he said.
“Yes, a top-class striker, but all this is a dream for the future. Now we have to look at getting the squad together for the current season. So, let’s see what else happens.’
