Protests at the Poyle interchange between junctions 14 (Heathrow) and 15 (M4), and at Dartford between Queen Elizabeth Bridge heading north and junction 30 (Thurrock), saw local police closing two sections in the sense of the hands of the clock and set in motion deviations.
