Justin Bieber has shared a faith-filled update on a rare disease that has caused one side of his face to become paralyzed.
The “Yummy” singer posted a statement to the Instastory part of her verified Instagram account on Monday about her continued recovery from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
“I wanted to share a little bit of how I felt,” he wrote. “Every day has improved and through all the hardships I have found solace in the one who designed me and knows me.”
Bieber has openly spoken out in the past about his Christian faith and wrote in his statement that “I remember knowing everything.”
“He knows the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms,” the statement continued. “This prospect has given me peace during this horrible storm I am facing.”
Bieber revealed last week that he was diagnosed with rare neurological syndrome, which is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox and shingles.
In a video he posted, he showed how one side of his face could not move as a result and explained that the diagnosis is why he canceled some concerts and plans to pause the tour while he recovers. .
He ended his statement on Monday by writing: “I know this storm will pass, but in the meantime Jesus is with me.”
