Leeds United legend has it that Kalvin Phillips could improve his game with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Reports have suggested the Blues are weighing in on a move for the England international this summer. City will look for a central midfielder as Fernandinho ends his nine-year stay in Manchester.
Phillips is also on the radar of City rivals Manchester United. In discussing Phillips’ possible move to the Etihad, John Giles said Guardiola could help develop the Leeds man.

He told Off the Ball, “They’re talking about him [Phillips] being a defensive midfielder, I think he could do a lot more with his ability. I don’t think they asked him to do it, I think his distribution is very good.
“When I see him hitting the long pass he is able to do it with both feet, but I always have the impression that at Leeds he is a defensive midfielder and no more is expected of him. Maybe go to City. go, Pep Guardiola will say ‘I expect more from you on the ball’, and I would too.
