Kate Middleton is a regular at the Wimbledon tennis tournament. The Duchess of Cambridge became the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club in 2016, but even before her sponsorship, she made sure to be in the stands every summer.
For the 2022 women’s singles championship, Kate took a dress out of her closet: a canary yellow Roksanda midi dress she last wore to Jamaica during the Royal Tour of the Cambridges in the Caribbean earlier this year. At Wimbledon, he opted to wear his hair down instead of pulling back with a sleek ponytail:

Kate’s yellow dress is no surprise to those who have followed her Wimbledon fashion: this is her third time wearing a yellow dress, perhaps a look at the yellow tennis balls. A version of Kate’s dress, the Roksanda ‘Brigitte’ midi style, in a light corn color is still available.
Kate congratulated her dress with flower and citrus earrings Kiki McDonough Eden and some white leather light bulbs Gianvito Rossi. He also wore the green and purple bow of the All England tennis club members nailed to his suit.
During the match, the Duchess of Cambridge looked very engrossed as she looked at no. 2 Ons Jabeur of Tunisia competes against Elena Rybakina, born in Moscow, world number one. 23. Although Wimbledon banned all Russian and Belarusian players this year, Rybakina changed his nationality four years ago in Kazakhstan.

The women’s finals are historic for numerous reasons; both Jabeur and Rybakina are competing in their first Grand Slam finals. Jabeur is the first Tunisian, Arab or African woman to reach a Slam final, and Rybakina is the first player representing Kazakhstan to do so. Rybakina defeated Jabeur 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

At the end of the match, the Duchess of Cambridge handed over the trophies to Rybakina and Jabeur. He began participating in the Wimbledon Trophy ceremony in 2019, slowly taking on the trophy functions of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, who left his role as President of the AELTC in 2021.

Kate already appeared once at Wimbledon this year, wearing a blue and white polka dot maxi dress by Alessandra Rich to watch the men’s quarterfinals. We can also expect to see the Duchess of Cambridge in the men’s singles finals tomorrow, where Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Nick Kyrgios of Australia will compete for the title.
“Wimbledon … was a big part of my growth,” Kate said in a 2017 BBC documentary about the tournament. “It’s a quintessential part of the English summer, and I think it really inspires young people; it inspired me when I was younger to get involved in the game.”
