Kate Moss denies that Johnny Depp pushed her down the stairs

He gave some specific answers to some of the particular accusations made by Heard and also by his sister, Whitney Henriquez, who provided some of Heard’s strongest supporting evidence.

He concluded his testimony with a definitive denial of the allegations.

“Never in my life have I committed sexual harassment, physical abuse, all these extravagant and outrageous stories of me committing these things,” she said. “And living with it for six years, and hoping to be able to get the truth out.”

He said that “no matter what happens, I have come here and told the truth and I have defended what I have been carrying on my back, reluctantly, for six years.”

Depp is suing Heard in Fairfax County Circuit Court for a December 2018 opinion piece he wrote in The Washington Post describing himself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” His lawyers say he was defamed by the article even though he never mentioned his name.

Depp has denied ever hitting Heard and says she was the abuser of the relationship. Heard has testified about more than a dozen separate cases of physical abuse he claims to have suffered at the hands of Depp.

Depp also answered Heard’s claim that Depp had nothing to do with getting a role for the superhero Aquaman. When Heard testified, she was clearly offended by a question from Depp’s lawyers hinting that Depp got her the role.

Depp, however, said that after Heard auditioned for the role, he spoke with the studio on her behalf. He was prevented from discussing the details of his conversations when Heard’s lawyers objected, but said he “got the job done in the end, so I hope, I guess, have curbed his worries to some extent.”

Depp also addressed the indictment in his testimony, saying the stair incident happened as Moss said.

He said he had told the story about Moss to Heard years ago and “Mrs Heard took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident, all in her mind”.

Moss testified for less than five minutes and was not questioned.
