Ministers should pass a law promising in the Conservative manifesto to limit the consequences of rail strikes threatening to paralyze the network this month, a senior Conservative MP has said.
The party pledged in 2019 to introduce a minimum service requirement during departures, which would stop total strikes as planned on June 21, 23 and 25.
