Kevin Spacey has been accused of sexually assaulting three men in the UK, adding to the growing list of legal issues he has faced with numerous allegations of sexual misconduct.
On Thursday, the Crown Prosecutor’s Office announced that Spacey would be charged with four counts of sexual assault, as well as one count of “causing a person to engage in penetrating sexual activity without consent.”
The charges include three male accusers, now in their 30s and 40s, for incidents that allegedly took place in the UK in 2005, 2008 and 2013, according to police.
The disgraced actor has been charged with sexual assault or harassment by more than a dozen men, including several who were teenagers at the time.
In 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making sexual advances towards him when he was 14 years old. Several other men appeared shortly afterwards with their own charges against Spacey. In response, Spacey declared himself gay, a move that many denounced as an attempt to deviate from the wave of accusations.
As a result of the allegations, Netflix severed ties with Spacey and removed it from its hit series. Castle of cards.
A Spacey spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from BuzzFeed News.
