The House of Cards star previously said he would appear “voluntarily” in a British court to answer any charges.
Spacey won the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in American Beauty, and also won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor after starring in The Usual Suspects.
He also starred in Seven, LA Confidential and Baby Driver.
