Kid Cudi replaces Kanye West with Rolling Loud Miami in the midst of ongoing beef

Kanye West is out and Kid Cudi is at Rolling Loud Miami, an interesting exchange, given that the two have been improving in recent months.

Festival organizers made the announcement on Sunday, saying that for reasons beyond their control, Kanye would not be performing at his event later this month as one of the three headliners … and instead, Scott would intervene to grab the mantle.

Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler tell TMZ more … “We were looking forward to Ye leading Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided “This is the first time a headliner has done our show and although we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best.”

They add: “We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as headliner in Miami and we can’t wait to see what he has in store.”

Kid Cudi himself confirmed the news, posting the new lineup in his IG story. It’s not clear why Ye went down, but that’s kind of his MO lately; you will remember that he also left Coachella at the last minute, without any explanation. There, too, they had to fight at the last minute for a new act.

The backdrop for this latest news, of course, is the fact that Cudi has officially disenfranchised Ye … publicly declaring that their friendship is over, this after Ye gave him a look for be friends with Pete Davidson.

He even clarified afterwards that he and Kanye weren’t great yet, even though they collaborated on a Pusha T song, which KC said would be the last time they worked together. So the fact that he’s the man who has to fill Kanye’s shoes is almost ending the circle with all of this.

As for Ye … it’s been relatively low lately. Although he appeared at Diddy’s big moment earlier this summer, the boy hasn’t been as visible as he has been earlier this year … which we assume some might consider a good thing.
