Kid Laroi has kept his promise to reschedule his shows in Melbourne postponed

“The doctor has told me that I can’t act tomorrow night and that I need one more day to be healthy,” he posted on his social media channels on Sunday night.

“The show on Monday (Brisbane) will now be moved to Wednesday and the show on Tuesday will continue as planned.

“I know I have to do it to be able to give you the show you want to see.”

The star also noted that his new Brisbane show, which will be held in the Riverstage outdoor auditorium, would coincide with the annual inauguration of the home state.

The rescheduled dates come after Laroi controversially canceled his show in Melbourne last Friday after falling ill, with the announcement 35 minutes after he was scheduled to appear on stage.

“I promise you with all my heart that I gave it my all to try to get on stage tonight,” he wrote on Instagram after the crash.

“It’s the first time I’ve been on a tour and I’m discovering a lot of new things about my body that I didn’t know before.

“I’m doing everything I can now to take care of myself and make sure I’m okay to come back and give you all the show you deserve.”

The star’s two-night tablet at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena has been re-booked for this Friday 10th June and Sunday 12th June.

Despite the hiccup, LAROI’s tour below has been a huge success, with sold-out shows in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney already in the books.
