A new Game of Thrones sequel centered on the character Jon Snow is said to be in the works with Kit Harington, reportedly because he will reprise his role as a restless hero.
The 35-year-old star, who played Jon Snow since the first episode of the hit TV show in 2011, became a fan favorite during the fantastic eight-season epic.
Jon Snow is the illegitimate son of the Stark family who held a position in the Night’s Watch to protect the kingdom of men from the sinister White Walkers.
The series saw him travel north of the wall, being re-appointed Guardian of the North, before learning last season that he was in fact descended from the dreaded Targaryen family.
He also lost his mistress Ygritte (played by Rose Leslie, whom he married in 2018) and even returned from the dead in the sixth series.
News of a Jon Snow-centric series was confirmed at several U.S. outlets.

Since Game of Thrones, Harington has appeared in the Marvel movie universe, co-starring in Eternals.
He has also played the lead role in Henry V of the National Theater.
The news of Jon Snow’s spin-off comes after the announcement of the spin-off of the House Of The Dragon franchise, a prequel.
It is set 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones and will tell the story of the Targaryen family, ancestors of the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, an important character in the main series.
The 10-episode HBO series stars Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen and is based on George RR Martin’s novel Fire And Blood.
