Klay Thompson of the Warriors drinks a beer as his brother’s Dodgers sweep the Giants

At least one Bay Area sports star had some fun at Chavez Ravine this weekend.

Klay Thompson took the lead in the Giants’ loss to the Dodgers on Sunday, their first four-game sweep at the hands of their Southern California rivals in nearly 30 years.

Trayce Thompson, the younger brother of the Warriors star, torched the Giants over the weekend, going 5-for-13 with two doubles, a triple and three walks. With Trayce doing the hard work on the court, Klay was able to dish as only he can.

“This L.A. heat ain’t no joke. Champs baby,” Klay said on his Instagram story before downing a beer. “Man, I love baseball season.”

Thompson was sitting directly behind the dugout, where he was able to celebrate his brother’s key RBI double and admire Joc Pederson’s hair.

Trayce Thompson’s career looked like it wasn’t coming to fruition with the Tigers and Pirates this spring, but he’s stuck with the Dodgers even after Mookie Betts returned from injury. The young Thompson is slashing .284/.360/.493 in 75 at-bats for the Dodgers, earning consistent playing time in the outfield.

Klay wasn’t completely in the tank for the Dodgers on Sunday, though. He was seen cheering “Let’s go, Captain” to fellow sailing enthusiast and Giants infielder Brandon Belt.
