Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Thiago is available for the Champions League final on Saturday evening after successfully recovering from his Achilles injury.
Liverpool confirmed on Friday that Thiago was a traveling member of the Champions League final squad, and the midfielder had many fingers crossed for his fitness.
The Spaniard suffered an Achilles injury at the halfway point in the 3-1 win over the Wolves and his behavior at the time did not offer much optimism for the trip to Paris.
But the scans showed that the problem “was not serious”, and Thiago has increased his training throughout the week and Klopp has provided the best possible update on the eve of the final.
In an interview with beIN Sports at the Stade de France, Klopp confirmed that Thiago “is 100 percent available for the final”, adding to the good news about his fitness at his press conference.

“It looks good for both of us,” Klopp told reporters in Paris of Fabinho and Thiago.
“Fabinho trained normally and Thiago trained with the team yesterday and will train today, let’s go from here.”
It is certainly good news for Liverpool with the countdown to start at the Stade de France well and truly underway.
With Fabinho looking to leave, it means Klopp has an almost complete squad available against Real Madrid, with only Divock Origi absent due to injury.
With Thiago looking to have received the clear, the Spaniard’s initial chances have been given a big boost and he could be named at eleven alongside Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, but Naby Keita is also in the mix.
