Everton coach Frank Lampard has added Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joe Rodon to his “shortlist”, according to reports.
The Welsh international only played ten times for his club last season. He made a start and was an unused substitute 29 times in the Premier League.

According to Alex Crook, Everton are interested in signing Rodon, with Lampard “very excited” with Harry Winks, while the Welshman is on the former Chelsea coach’s “shortlist”.
Crook told talkSPORT (quotes via Football London): “In terms of Everton, a very interesting link between Everton and Tottenham. Daniel Levy and Bill Kenwright were actually seen having dinner at a London restaurant on Monday night and i’m sure the name Richarlsion and Anthony Gordon came into the conversation.
“We know, for his part, that Frank Lampard is very interested in at least one Tottenham player in Harry Winks, maybe two, as they tell me that Joe Rodon is also on Lampard’s roster this summer, so there could be some kind of exchange agreement “.
Nottingham Forest are also interested in signing Rodon, as well as Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Meanwhile, Everton and the Spurs have agreed a “full deal” on the transfer of Brazilian striker Richarlison, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea tried to hijack Richarlison’s deal before the deal between Everton and Tottenham, in force this morning for £ 60 million.
“The Spurs have a full deal with both EFC and Richarlison on personal terms. Only health care in Brazil and the player’s signature are expected.”
Richarlison has scored six goals and two assists in his last ten Premier League games in 2021/22.
The Brazilian international will be the Spurs’ fourth signing of the summer after the captures of Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
They are also linked with Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence, who played on loan from Nottingham Forest last season.
