(CNN) – NASA said the sun is becoming very active and that could cause problems here on Earth.
The space agency warned that the sun’s activity level has increased rapidly.
They said the solar cycle is not at its peak and is already exceeding expectations.
Scientists expect to see more solar flares and solar flares that could affect radio communications, navigation signals and electrical power grids on Earth.
The increased activity could also pose risks to spacecraft and astronauts, affect GPS signals and even raise health concerns for flight crew and passengers on planes.
NASA predicted that solar events will continue to increase between now and 2025.
