Wondering when Samsung plans to introduce its new folding smartphones? Don’t ask anymore. A new online leak has surfaced highlighting when the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be unveiled.
Samsung’s new folding smartphones are some of its most anticipated devices of the year. Many people are looking forward to seeing what improvements Samsung has made. The company itself expects the new folds to sell more than its very popular predecessors.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are expected to hit the shelves on August 26th
@evleaks has leaked an online image that looks like it shows the official invitation for Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event. The image includes a blurry rendering of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. A clearer version of this rendering has already been leaked online.
The invitation clearly mentions that the company’s next Unpacked event will take place on August 10th. This is not surprising, given that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 were unveiled on August 11, 2021.
An earlier report had stated that Samsung will start placing pre-orders for the new folding smartphones starting August 16th. However, pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are likely to open the day they are released, a lot. as happened with his predecessors.
The report had also mentioned August 26 as the launch date of the new folding smartphones. This is plausible, as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 were launched on August 27, 2021.
Samsung has not revealed any information about its new folding smartphones at this time. An online launch event is likely to take place, as it has done since the second half of 2020. The return to in-person launch events still seems a long way off.
