Latrell Mitchell will only have one match to convince Brad Fittler that he is ready for a return to his home state, after the South star was ruled out of this weekend’s match with COVID-19.
Mitchell has not played since hamstring injury in the fifth-round game against St George Illawarra, and is looking forward to returning this weekend against the Titans.
Instead, he will spend the week in isolation.

“Rabbitohs winger Latrell Mitchell will not be available for selection in the 14th round after testing positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, June 5,” the club said in a statement.
“Mitchell won’t train this week as he isolates himself from the team.”
That only remains for the Rabbitohs’ 15th round game against the Dragons before the New South Wales team for the second game is named.
Mitchell returned to Australia on Thursday after spending two weeks in the United States as part of his rehabilitation from hamstring injury.
MORE TO COME.
