LeBron James is healthy and the famous Los Angeles Drew League was able to see him up close.
The Lakers superstar appeared in the league for the first time since 2011 and did a show alongside Bulls star DeMar DeRozan.
After losing seven of the Lakers ’last eight regular-season games due to a sprained left ankle, this was James’ first vision of playing basketball in more than three months. He scored 42 points and made 16 rebounds, four steals and three assists in an impressive display.

DeRozan added 30 points and 14 rebounds when the stellar team won 104-102.
“It was just an epic, epic afternoon of basketball.” Dino Smile, commissioner of the Drew League, told ESPN.
The performance drew several current and former NBA players such as Baron Davis, Draymond Green, Montrezl Harrell and James’ Lakers teammates Kendrick Nunn and Talen Horton-Tucker.

“For him to be here and get in the middle of the ‘hood’ where there are normal people every day who admire him, he’s a superstar, so come here and thank those people for their presence, I think it’s super drug.” , said Ethan Alvano, who faced James. “I’m glad he did and it’s great for the community.”
