F1 returns to the only Baku Street circuit for the eighth round of the 2022 Championship, the second consecutive street event after the Monaco GP.
Sergio Pérez was the winner last time, and is now just 15 points behind championship leader and teammate Max Verstappen, as Charles Leclerc remains among them in second place in the drivers’ standings.
Verstappen will seek revenge after his spectacular tire explosion at last year’s Baku race, which cost him the victory in the Azerbaijani capital.
