Candidates usually hold meetings on election night for supporters. It is common practice for candidates and their teams to inform the media where they will be, so that journalists can react to the results.
This campaign, almost all candidates transmitted this information to CTV News Ottawa when asked. But Lisa MacLeod, who was seeking a fifth election as MPP in Nepean, has been silent on the radio.
CTV News contacted its campaign staff to ask questions, but never received a response. PC Party media office staff also did not respond to questions about where their meeting would take place.
The polls close in just over an hour, and we still don’t know if MacLeod is holding a rally for fans and if so, where he’s going.

There are several attractions to see in the Ottawa area tonight.
In Ottawa West — Nepean in 2018, PC candidate Jeremy Roberts defeated NPD candidate Chandra Pasma by less than 200 votes.
Now the two candidates are running again, and Roberts is seeking a second term as MPP.
In Ottawa Center, NPD MP Joel Harden is seeking re-election. The constituency was previously liberal for 15 years, with candidate Katie Gibbs hoping to get it back for the party.
And in Glengarry — Prescott — Russell, Liberal MP Amanda Simard hopes to win re-election. She won as a PC candidate in 2018, but later left the party due to cuts in French-language education.
She and PC candidate Stephane Sarrazin have been neck and neck throughout the campaign, polls show.
Elections Ontario says it has fixed a problem that has not seen voter information flow to political parties for much of Thursday morning after the polls opened.
The issue did not affect voters’ polling stations, but information flowing to parties to let them know who voted or not, which is known as “cut-off data.”
These data are used by the parties to find out who should try to go to the polls.
