Garner publishes an update on the future of Man Utd
Manchester United midfielder James Garner says he wants to impress Erik ten Hag in the pre-season, but insists he has not made any decisions about his future.
Speaking to Nottinghamshire Live, he said: “I haven’t spoken to Erik ten Hag yet.
“It’s been football, football, football. I haven’t talked to anyone at the club yet. Now it’s time to rest. I’m not sure what the future holds.”
Pressed on what his preference would be, he said: “Personally, I’m not too sure. I haven’t had much time to think honestly.
“I’ve gone from the championship playoff final to international football. I haven’t had a break or time to think about what I want. I’d like to go into the preseason and impress.”
“It’s up to me as a player to impress and score. I know the good style of football that Ajax plays, so it’s exciting.”
