Live Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Live: Harry and Meghan join Royals in Thanksgiving

The Bishop of London has said she is “excited” before the Thanksgiving service for the Queen’s platinum jubilee at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally, who will be directing the blessing at St Paul’s, told the BBC Breakfast: “I think I’m excited.”

She added that she was nervous about the ceremonial attire she should wear.

“It’s a coat called George V. It’s a pretty old coat, it’s a coat and it sits on me, but of course it was designed for men because I’m the first woman to be the bishop of London.” he said.

“So it doesn’t look so good to me, so I’m a little nervous.”

He said Her Majesty’s Christian faith “has always shaped her” and that she feels privileged to participate in the service and “thank” the Queen for her service to the country.
