A ‘police incident’ has led to the closure of a village road in both directions this morning. The Peatling Road between Ashby Magna and Peatling Parva, near Lutterworth, has been closed to traffic.
Leicestershire police alerted motorists of the closure on social media at around 9.30am. A tweet from the official force account said: “Complete closure of the road to Ashby Road / Peatling Road between the villages of Peatling Parva and Ashby Magna.
“Please look for alternative routes. Thank you for your patience.”
